Students will learn

Students will learn different mediums and techniques and discover how artists use them to create meaning, expression and depth in their art.

Themes covered

Each week focuses on drawing, painting, collage, and mixed-media projects in a fun and relaxed environment. We will explore visual art through thematic learning, integrating different subjects for real-world experience. Our artists will explore and accomplish projects that reflect their creativity.

Class structure

The class is organized as a creative discovery and journey. Each session begins with a short introduction and visual examples, followed by a hands-on project. Students will build their skills step by step while creating their own unique works of art. All classes are conducted via Zoom. Link will be provided.

Instruction

I use demonstrations, visual aids, and guided practice to help students understand each concept. Students will be encouraged to experiment and make choices that reflect their own artistic voices along with sharing their voices about their creative experience.

Teaching style

My teaching is supportive, encouraging, and interactive. I believe every child is an artist, and my goal is to build their confidence and creativity while making art enjoyable and approachable.

Student interaction

Students will interact with me throughout each class. I will lead group discussions, incorporate stories, and check in individually as students work on projects. There will also be opportunities to share art, discussions with classmates and celebrate each other’s creativity.
